A Case of Primary Carcinoma of Fallopain Tuba

Abstract
Primary tubal carcinoma was the rarest carcinoma in the female genital tract, comparising only 0.3% to 1.1% of female genital malignancies.
The histology and behavior of fallopian tube cancer are similar to ovarian cancer; thus, the evaluation and treatment are also essentially the same.
Unlike ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer begins in a hollow viscus, and early lesions may be less likely to be associated with extensive intraperitoneal carcinoma.
Tubal cancer has a propensity for metastasis to lymph nodes, especially those in the para-aortic chain.
No system of staging has been defined by the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), but categories have been defined by convention that are analogous to the FIGO stating of ovarian cancer.
The fallopian tubes are frequently involved secondarily from other primary sites, most often the ovaries, endometrium, gastrointestinal tract, or breast. Almost all cancers are of epithelial orgin, most frequently of serous histology.
We experienced a case of fallopian tube cancer and report with brief review of literature.
